Flow HEAT THERAPY

COLD, FLU & COVID

A cold is a common and typically harmless viral infection of the nose, throat, airways and sinuses. With rest it usually clears up on its own within a week or so. The main symptoms you may experience are a sore throat, coughs and sneezes, pressure in your face and ears, loss of taste and smell and a blocked (congested) or runny nose. More severe symptoms can include a fever (high temperature), headache and muscle aches, which tend to be associated with flu.

USING FLOW NANO

The Nano’s heat and massage functions are perfect for self-care through the unpleasant symptoms associated with cold and flu, such as general aches and pains, headaches, chills and congestion; while conveniently water resistant for easy sanitising.

HOW DOES IT HELP?

Heat therapy with the Nano can relieve pain you may face during a cold, such as headaches and muscle aches. Applying heat to the temples, forehead or sore muscles with the Nano activates temperature-sensitive nerve endings called thermoreceptors, which then send signals that block the transmission of pain signals to the brain. Increased blood flow at the site of pain facilitates healing and pain relief through the delivery of more oxygen and nutrients and removal of pain-inducing mediators.
